Viva Magenta was named colour of the year by Pantone, and this inspired our full sun, South facing border that stimulates the senses. Beautiful, bold and fierce, this hot border creates a sense of much needed optimism in the post- pandemic era. The Viva Magenta palette is bright and fun, but depth is added with both lighter and darker shades while structural forms are softened with clumps of wispy foliage and more delicate flowers. There are thrillers, fillers and spillers, and plants have been chosen for their long season of interest and their sensory qualities be they tactile, edible, highly scented and of course a sight for sore eyes.
